2016/07/15

JEOL RESONANCE Inc. and JEOL Ltd. Participated in EUROMAR 2016 held from July 3 to July 7 at Musikhuset Aarhus in Aarhus, Denmark.
The number of preregistrants for participation was about 650, with 120 oral presentations and 330 poster presentations.

During lunch time on July 5(Tue), we held a lunch time seminar. With an abundant audience, Toby Zens of JEOL USA Inc. gave a lecture titled “The Evolution of the HFX Probe: From Ancient NMR to Modern Probe Technology”, and Yusuke Nishiyama, our researcher gave a lecture titled “MAS at 100+kHz:Appliation to Samples in Natural Abundance”.

In addition, in the evening on the same day, we held a “JEOL Reception” at the booth and we had many guests. This year, the JEOL PhD-Student Travel Grants were awarded to Matthias Lipfert (Christian-Albrechts Universitat) , and Mr. Anai, the president has presented the mementos to him.

Moreover, we had poster presentations by our researcher, Yusuke Nishiyama and Aiko Shimada, in addition, we had an oral and poster presentation by our user. We came up with many questions and proposals to either of the presentations. We are going to use them for our future research and development.

We feel grateful to those who visited our lunch seminar and our booth.
